Our Hair; Good Energy

HARLOW & HAZE

Harlow & Haze is the brand behind Tree House Salon. We ethically source our hair from the Indian temples where people donate their hair for religious reasons with their family; Happy Donors. They were not forced to sell their hair in impoverished circumstances. This means that the hair we source is good energy hair. Our factory has been producing quality hair for our business since 2013.

Our hair is 100% Remy Indian human hair, double drawn 22″ length. It lasts for 9-12+ months and sometimes longer. We pride ourselves on having an annual turnover of one set per year for most of our long term clients!

Proud stockists of Jadore

When we are not importing Harlow & Haze, we are proudly using Jadore Hair Supplies to give our clients the best quality we can provide! We believe it matches our own brand's quality and they are a beautiful brand with integrity and top notch customer service.

Let's get real.

Tree House Salon is where people from all over SE Queensland and NE NSW come to have their hair extensions maintained. Our founder, Cass, has been doing hair extensions since 2008 and continues to provide ongoing training both internally and externally with the team to consistently maintain and develop their skills.

We currently offer 5 hair extension methods and over 10 different types of instals including hybrid blends to really hone in on each individual's needs and goals. With hair integrity at the forefront of our mind, we aim to perfect each install; creating seamless blends, beautiful colour matches and striving for long term hair health.

There are pros and cons for each method, read on to see why each method is amazing but also where they fall short…

Sew In Wefts

There are many ways to install wefts. Hundreds. We have chosen to use 2 different methods of installation and 2 different types of wefts.

WEFT TYPES

Machine Wefts; The OG style weft that has been the only type of weft for decades. This has been made by a sewing machine where the hair is folded over at the top.

The positives to this type of weft is volume at the scalp, if you love projection, this weft will give you that!!

The negatives: Because of how it is made, it can feel bulky at the seam and the little “fringe” that was folded over can for some people cause itchiness. It can also be limiting with the amount of colours used in one set as we can’t layer too many pieces on top of each other in the one row.

Miracle Wefts; AKA Invisible Wefts, Genius Wefts, Mini Wefts.

This is the latest and most popular type of weft that has hit the world by storm due to its seamless and discreet top. This weft is teeny weeny but very sturdy making it the best choice for most people!

The positives: It sits a lot flatter to your head, you can layer more colours in each row since the weft itself is so fine and you can enjoy wearing it up high with comfortability.

The Negatives: Due to how tiny they are, they can deteriorate quickly if not taken care of. This is not something to be too concerned about as they are still quite strong.

METHODS:

Waterfall Track & Invisible Track

The Waterfall Track is great for most hair types; it is sturdy, comfortable and gentle. It is often used for people who like it as close to the root as possible.

The Invisible Track (pictured above) is perfect for fine and sensitive hair types; It is designed to allow your hair to sit in natural fall meaning more gentle installs. The weft is placed underneath and on top of the track so you can wear it up high and it will stay nice and flat. This is a flatter method of install too and it is ideal for those who prefer a flat method.
